Archbishop Glenn Davies
The Most Rev. Dr. Glenn Davies is a dear friend and fervent supporter of the Anglican Diocese of the Living Word. A graduate of Moore Theological College (DipA), Westminster Theological Seminary (MDiv and ThM), and Sheffield (PhD), he has served as a courageous Gospel minister for over 40 years. He is most well known as the 12th Archbishop of Sydney, Australia where he was an outspoken champion of the authority of Holy Scripture in the life of the Church. Currently, he ministers as the First Bishop of the Diocese of the Southern Cross, formed to provide a refuge for faithful Anglican parishes across Australia.
We look forward to his ministry in our midst, as he preaches from 1 Corinthians on the church as the Living Temple of God.
Bible teacher | Rev. Dr. Danny Hyde
Rev. Dr. Hyde is the pastor at Oceanside United Reformed Church. He was born in Long Branch and baptized in the Roman Catholic Church. At 17 he was converted during his time at Hope Chapel, Hermosa Beach (Foursquare Church). While in college he became disillusioned as a believer, leading to a two-year journey exploring Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, and others. Pastor Danny discovered the riches of the historic Protestant and Reformed Christian faith after meeting a classmate who introduced him to The White Horse Inn radio broadcast and through a theology professor, who started giving him books by Luther, Calvin, and others.
